Fun Learning Activities When the Class Is Over

When classes end, it does not mean the learning stops. Many activities continue to foster learning – anywhere and anytime.

Maximize your child’s learning after school with these activities. Lessons can come in one form or another.

• Playtimes

  Whether with age-appropriate toys or with made-up forts, playtime is also a ground for learning. The child learns how to communicate with their playmates. They learn about creativity.

• Science experiments

  Learning about science does not only happen at school. At home, there are science experiments that can be safely done with children to keep their curiosity alive or supplement concepts learned in class.

• Arts and crafts

  The classic art activities are great learning opportunities as these do not have rules and regulations. The child can freely explore art and, in turn, be able to express themselves in any way they can.

• House chores

  Doing chores is a learning activity, too. The child learns simple tasks that will be helpful in their adulthood and a sense of contribution to the family. They get to see that their efforts contribute to something.
